This website (www.wprhawaii.com) is a division of West Point Relocation, Inc. (WPR). WPR is a broker for shipments going to or from Hawaii. The broker license number is MC 519021 and the Freight Forwarder license number is FF 5862. We have negotiated rates around the country with various companies to offer you the best rates available.

California specials. We currently have a special for moves originating in or around Los Angeles and San Francisco. We have discounted our rates and have included loading and packing labor at no extra charge. Our movers have an adequate supply of packing materials which can be purchased to secure and protect your belongings. These special rates apply to Door to Door moves within specific regions in or around Los Angeles and San Francisco. Act fast, because these rates will not last and are subject to change without notice.

Your move is subject to confirmation prior to 7 days before the day of the move. If we cannot reach you during this period, your move may be delayed.

Our rates are subject to change without notice. Making a reservation by placing a deposit on a credit card will lock-in your rate for up to 6 months. We are not responsible for typographical errors in our rates.

Rates Disclaimer: We are not responsible for errors in rates. We reserve the right to cancel a job with reasonable notice for such errors.

For FCL shipments being picked up at your door, we may, in our sole discretion, send either a container or a truck to your residence. If we send a truck, we will be responsible for transferring your shipment from the truck to a container. You will not be charged for the transfer. We reserve the right to consolidate your shipment into a larger container. For example, if you are shipping enough goods to fill a 20’ container, we may, in our sole discretion, place your goods into a larger container with another customer.

For shipments going to the Door in Hawaii, we will get your LCL or FCL as close to the destination as possible. Please note that containers arrive via a semi-truck. These vehicles are not able to travel on extremely curvy or steep hills. We will get your shipment as close as possible without jeopardizing the safety of people or equipment. You should notify us ahead of time if you anticipate any problems. In some circumstances, we can arrange for a shuttle truck for an additional fee. Unloading the items into your house is generally not included in your move. This service may be available on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee. For LCL shipments, we will get the items to your curbside, if possible. For FCL shipments, we will get the container as close as we can.

The amount of time it will take to transport your goods depends, in part, on the distance traveled. A customer shipping goods from New York to Maui will take longer to arrive at destination than a customer shipping from San Francisco to Honolulu. Generally speaking, on moves to or from Hawaii, you must allow 10 to 21 days transit time within the mainland and up to an additional 30 days for ocean and transfers. You can anticipate longer transit times during our busiest season. Some delays are not within our control, such as port delays, mechanical or equipment breakdown, random inspections, forces of nature or acts of God, riots, strikes, embargoes, or wars. You may call us anytime on our toll free number for an update on your shipment.

Your reservation is based on the type of move specified in your estimate. Unless specifically stated in your estimate, your move is for a group container (Less than Container Load). Once you reserve your move based on a group container, you will have up to 7 business days prior to your move date to add and/or remove items from your inventory list. We will then be able to adjust your rate accordingly. For scheduling and dispatching purposes, you will be unable to switch from a group container to a full container and vice versa within 7 business days of the date of your move.

We make no warranties of any kind, and all warranties are hereby disclaimed, including, but not limited to, the warranty of merchantability and the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

If you cancel more than 7 business days prior to the scheduled move date by calling us at (888) 659-2766, you will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

If you cancel less than 7 business days prior to the scheduled move date, you will be charged our costs up to that point in preparing for your shipment. This may include, but is not limited to, container trucking charges and ocean transportation cancellation charges. You will also be charged a $250 cancellation fee.

In order to cancel, you can call us or click here to submit a cancellation request. Note, your cancellation will not be final until you receive a confirmation from us.

When 1 month of free storage applies, the 1 month begins on the date of pickup. We reserve the right to store the goods at a location of our choosing, based in part on storage availability.

The United States Department of Transportation has published two important handouts discussing moves. They are Ready to Move and Rights and Responsibilities.
